Call to support survey-based research projects on the impact of covid-19 (LL20-2)
The Social Observatory of ”la Caixa” has announced a call to support survey-based research projects on the social impact of covid-19.
A maximum of 4 projects are to be funded, with a maximum grant of 30,000 euros for each project.
WE ARE SEEKING:
Projects that use a survey to help obtain data on the social impact of the covid-19 pandemic on Spanish society.
WE ARE OFFERING:
A grant of 3,600 euros for the researcher or research team as remuneration to research and produce the article.
Costs of the survey: The ”la Caixa” Foundation will commission the survey to an opinion poll company and assume all the costs involved.
WE ARE ASKING FOR:
The beneficiary undertakes to use the grant obtained to analyse the data of the survey that is the object of the selected proposal, as well as submit an original, unpublished article containing the results of this analysis to the Social Observatory of ”la Caixa”.
The latest delivery period for the article is 6 months, starting from the notification that the proposal has been selected.
The university or research centre receiving the grant must sign an agreement with the ”la Caixa” Foundation.
WHO CAN APPLY:
The call is open to individual researchers or research teams of any nationality conducting their activity in universities, research centres or private non-profit organisations dedicated primarily to research and headquartered in Spain.
Application deadline: The proposals can be submitted until 2 pm (Central European Time) on 3 July 2020.
The proposals must be sent to the email of the Social Observatory of ”la Caixa”.
Notification of the selected proposal will be made by means of the contact email of the main researcher that was provided during the application process. Information on the resolution of the call will be published on the website of the Social Observatory of ”la Caixa”. Both announcements will be made no later than 15 September 2020.
